Sanctuary

The softest surface I’ve ever touched is your heart
The strongest fortress that a love can live inside of
The kindest word I’ve ever heard you said is “I need you”
The most honest thing I’ve ever accepted is I need you too.

Don’t be scared to be a flower
Don’t be afraid of being delicate
God has designed the way you are, so beautiful
So why torn away all that you are for something so spiteful?

The warmest place I’ve ever been is in your arms
The safest haven that a life can spend its time in
The brightest glow I’ve ever seen is the one your face is showing
The most beautiful light that can shine through each and every morning.

Don’t be scared to be a flower
Don’t be afraid of being delicate
God has designed the way you are, extremely lovely
So why throw away all that you are for something pointless?

Here in this garden
You’re the center point
All eyes set in your magnificence
For you’re a sanctuary, where hearts conjoint.
