This is dedicated to the memory of my great aunt, my grandfather and my uncle. Never been one to show my feelings in public. Maybe that should change. May their souls Rest in Peace.

The Memories Left

You’re not here
What can I do?
No more fight
No more fear
No more chance
To say I’m sorry.

You’re not here
No more to do
No more to say
It doesn’t matter
I wasted my chance
To apologize.

You’re not here
I can’t see you
I can’t hear you
I can’t feel you
I know I’ll never again
But I guess that’s life.

You’re not here
What can I do?
It doesn’t matter
Life does go on
Never had the chance
To say I love you.

You’re not here
Who am I talking to?
Who is this for?
Be either up there
A God or not
Or even an after life
I missed my chance
To make amends.
